Putz Available, Other Rumors

The NY Post reports that the Mariners have made JJ Putz available and the Mets will talk with them next week about a trade. Also, there's nothing to the blockbuster rumor of Bobby Jenks and Jermaine Dye, as Fernando Martinez has been deemed just about untouchable. The Rays offered reliever Chad Bradford to the Mets but no dice.
