No K-Rod Talks Until Winter Meetings

Free agent closer Francisco Rodriguez's agent Paul Kinzer told the Associated Press that his client would not start discussions with other teams until the Las Vegas Winter Meetings begin on December 8th, one week from this coming Monday.
"I'll probably see the Mets at the winter meetings. I don't have anything else planned," Kinzer said.
This clearly means the Mets are the front-runners, considering no other potential suitors were named. I'm sure other teams like Milwaukee will jump in, but New York appears to be in the driver's seat for K-Rod.
